Berrys are pleased to be involved in an exciting new holiday complex, which includes the conversion of a modern steel framed agricultural building into a large holiday let. The site currently sits within the grounds of a former historic stately home which burnt down some time ago.
There currently exists two traditional stone built properties which are to be converted into large holiday let accommodation. In close proximity to these is a redundant steel framed agricultural building which is to be converted.
The design of the converted barn has been sympathetically done to keep within the constraints of the existing steel framed building, merging the agricultural aesthetic with a homely feel. Large glazed windows have been designed to be in keeping with proportions of the barn, providing views over the estate grounds and views beyond.
The proposals provide a large open plan living accommodation and ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor and a mezzanine gallery space and further ensuite bedrooms on the first floor. The design incorporates an external terrace accessed from the gallery to provide an elevated viewing space to the landscaped surroundings.
